ES Energy Saving Membranes
LG’s range of brackish water membranes offers high permeability at low operating pressures. The ultra-low pressure UES version is suitable for low salinity brackish feed water, with the higher pressure ES version suitable for low to medium salinity feed water. The energy-saving properties and unique TFN technology make these membranes an excellent choice for applications where reliability is essential, with significantly lower running costs than traditional membrane alternatives.
LG BW 4040 UES RO Membrane
The LG UES membrane offers an average rejection rate of 99% at pressures as low as 6.9 bar. It is an ‘extra low energy ‘ultra energy saving’ membrane and is a suitable alternative to Oltremare LOW4-4040, Axeon HF4-4040, Hydranautics ESPA4-4040 and Dow/Filmtec XLE-4040.

In reverse osmosis systems water is pushed up against a membrane which has minute holes (typically at a pressure of 10- 12 bar). Water molecules pass through the minute holes (the permeate) while minerals such as sodium can not get through and are rejected. On domestic systems the permeate flow is low at 25%, while on industrial systems the permeate flow can be as high as 75% recovery.
Industrial membranes are most efficient (100%) when the incoming water is 15 degrees Centigrade, the lower the water temperature the less efficient the membrane becomes, so at 5 degrees Centigrade the membranes output is 67%.

Delivery charges are applied to your order depending on weight and order value. These charges will be clearly displayed in the checkout process. To place an order through our online shop, you must be over 18 years of age, contactable by telephone or mobile phone, resident in United Kingdom and accessing our website from an address in the United Kingdom. Before placing your order, please note: We aim for next day delivery but this is not guaranteed by our couriers and may take up to 3 working days from receipt of your order.
We use APC couriers for next day parcel service and we can usually dispatch your order for next day delivery if you confirm your order by 1:00 pm. For large and heavy items and items that could be damaged if sent in standard parcels (including 100 metre hose reels ) we use Palletways next day tail lift service. Large floor scrubber driers and sweepers are delivered by our own specialist vehicles and operator training given at the time of delivery.
Some machines in our range are built to order, however we normally stock all the products listed on our web site and dispatch them direct from our own warehouse. The customer however accepts that not all items are in stock at all times, and in this case delivery may take longer than would otherwise be the case.
Customers requiring an urgent delivery are advised to ring 01491 825600 to confirm stock availability. Our usual delivery schedule is from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 6pm. We do cater for delivery times before 10:30 and 12:00 am but this is at an extra cost.
Specific delivery days, including Saturdays, and alternative delivery addresses can be accommodated but these are also subject to additional carriage charges.
