Dehumidifier and Air Mover Hire

We have both domestic and commercial high performance dehumidifiers on our hire fleet for drying out small areas, rooms and buildings after burst pipes, flood, or building work . We also hire air movers and when combined with a dehumidifier can really speed up the drying process. For more severe flooding we also hire small submersible pumps and wet extraction vacuum cleaners for use prior to installing a dehumidifier.

  • Things to consider when choosing a drying system:
  • The extent of the flooding or damp
  • The type of construction materials that require drying
  • Any access issues such as stairs or basements
  • The effect of fan noise in your premises ( from the drying equipment)
  • Is the property in use or empty ?
  • Does the area require cleaning before dehumidifying ?

Is the source of flood water white, grey or black ?  White water is uncontaminated (at source)  “tap” water.  Grey water is typically from a dishwasher, washing machine, shower or bath water and black water comes from toilets and contains human waste.

We supply Craftex Microkill which is a revolutionary cleaning and sanitising chemical and a certified virucidal cleaner. Microkill cleans and sanitises all water washable surfaces,  including carpets,  upholstery and soft furnishings, hard surfaces ,  walls,  floors,  toilets and washrooms etc. Microkill is bleach free, non hazadous , non toxic and contains pleasant floral fragrance. It kills swine flu, HIV Hepatitis C,  MRSA, Clostridium Difficile,  common food poisoning,  bacteria,  mould,  mildew,  fungi and yeast and passes EN1276, EN13704, EN14476 and EN14675.

Dilution rate 1:10 to 1:200 pH10 supplied in 5 litres containers @ £24.94 + VAT each.

Drieaze Driair 1200EB – 230v

High performance dehumidifier – auto pump out

The Drieaze Driair 1200EB  dehumidifier is recognised as the preferred  choice for most insurance companys and flood restoration professionals.  This machine can extract up to a maximum of 50 litres in a 24 hour period depending on ambient temperature and relative humidity.  Ideal for drying out buildings, rooms, conservatories and for commercial applications following flood or any other damp causing conditions. Automatic defrost and automatic pump out via a 12 metre hose allows the Driair to be left unattended  when connected to a drain. Automatic cut out if the drain hose is inadvertantly restricted. Large wheels for easy transport and machine will lay on its back to travel in an estate car. Weight 36kg and power consumption 0.69kW per hour with an approximate running cost of 0.11 pence per hour. A large 3M HAF air filter is fitted on the Driair machine which is electrostatically charged and has antimicrobial protection to ensure filtered air is returned to the drying area.
