What is pure water ?

It is tap water with 100% minerals removed (0 parts per million) which would otherwise leave limescale deposits on glass. Pure water is measured for purity with a TDS meter (TDS = total dissolved solids) .

How is pure water made ?

A Di resin filter vessel contains lots of tiny polymer beads called resin which hold back the minerals from passing tap water.  As tap water passes through the filter vessel it emerges absolutely pure in an instant and can be used directly through a waterfed pole or stored in a tank ready for use.

How does pure water clean glass ?

Pure water contains amazing cleaning power and works without using chemicals. Use a brush to provide gentle scrubbing action and pure water cleans and rinses the glass leaving the surface squeaky clean and spotless.

How long does Di resin last ?

The softer the water the longer resin lasts.  As a rule of thumb in a hard water area expect 100 + litres of pure water per 2 litre bag of resin (1 x fill of the Unger resin vessel ) which equates to about 12 average shop windows or 4 x 3 bedroom semi detached houses.  We stock replacement bags of resin and the resin is simply poured out and disposed of and replaced with fresh resin, reusing the plastic filter vessel.

Telescopic waterfed poles

Using a waterfed pole is twice as fast as traditional glass cleaning methods and leaves glass streak free and without limescale deposits. Using a waterfed pole is very easy and perfect results are quickly achieved.  It is the safest method for cleaning glass at height while working from the ground.
